At The Oasis, we take a whole-person approach to addiction recovery. Our Holistic Therapy Program helps you reconnect your mind, body, and spirit, to help you move through life as a self-aware, cohesive whole. Our practitioners have developed exceptional mindfulness-based practices including meditation, yoga, art, sound healing, and more. These practices are meant to complement our evidence-based therapies, helping you understand and express yourself so you can deepen your healing and sustain long-term recovery.
In our Holistic Therapy Program, you’ll be able to examine past traumatic experiences, childhood wounds, self-doubt, and more, in ways that are different from typical therapy self-reflection. Holistic therapies help you uncover your inner sources of power and strength, allowing you to shift into a space of greater peace, acceptance, and forward motion. Holistic therapies can help you release the hold substances have on you, offering you ways to cope with life that are healthier and more balanced.
When you leave The Oasis, you’ll be returning to an environment where you previously relied on substances to get by. With the tools you gather together in our Holistic Therapy Program, you’ll return to that place with a connection to your body, mind, and spirit that you didn’t have before. This connection to your inner power will help you sustain your recovery, building a life that doesn’t lead you to substances to cope.
Our Holistic Therapy Program integrates itself into our program throughout your stay, with a regular connection to mindfulness practices, including mindful music, yoga, meditation, art, and more. We teach you about “The Four Agreements” to help you grow in your ability to handle tough situations, a skill that is useful in recovery and in life. We help you connect to the world around you through Ecophysiology, and help you connect to your physical body through art therapy, massage, and acupuncture.
The Oasis has been fortunate enough to draw together a group of practitioners who are experienced and exceptional in their ability to teach mindfulness and spiritual practices. At The Oasis, we feel that spirituality is whatever you want to call it, and we foster a community where everyone can express their own spirituality as part of their recovery.
